I wish would let me line up the names and pics better.
---------
Just in case anyone has wondered about my name,
I am not American Indian.
I was in the Navy 20 yrs and worked in medicine as a Hospital Corpsman.
Wicasa = Although I have seen this simply translated as "Man" or "Important man", my friend told me it could mean "brave" or "warrior".
Wakan = Although some say it means "Sacred" my friend informed me it can be used for a Medicine man because he is sacred to the people.
WicasaWakan together is usually used for the "Holy man". I am not a holy man.
Many years ago, I was given this name by a Sioux friend for the work I used to do cleaning up trails and forests. He explained that my beliefs in caring for the world and other people even though I do not have a religious bone in my body, still worked for me.
So being in the Navy at the time I knew him, he called me Warrior-Healer.

That is all for now,
Hugs and squishy stuff,
